
Sometimes I feel the NEED for chocolate. I should be able to control it better, but I love it more than anyone I know and therefore, I indulge. With that said, I have this challenge in mind, and I am trying to eat better and with less sugar from NOW ON. So comes the brownie like mixture I can have – so happy about this =)
- 1.5 c figs or dates
- 2 big tbs cocoa
- 1 generous c mixed walnuts and cashews
- water as needed
Put all ingredients in a powerful blender (the Ninja is on sale right now at CanTire – I highly recommend). Blend until everything it is well combine and dough-like. You may need to add water depending on how moist your figs are.
Press the dough into a pan or roll it into bite-sized balls and eat right away or store in the fridge. Eat, repeat.
