Best yet brownies – GF

Lately I have been totally loving almond flour. Some of our friends are gluten free so I’ve been experimenting. M first attempt at GF pie did not pan out, and with GF guests for dinner, I needed something else. My go to – chocolate! I got the original recipe here but again changed it to my pallet.

I should mention, the cooked brownies really stick to the pan so grease well. I used a square 8 x 8 glass dish

  • 2 cups dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil


  • 2 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tbs real vanilla

In separate bowl mix:

  • 1 cup light brown sugar (not packed)
  • 3/4 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 teaspoon  salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Add wet to dry, mix well and bake at 325 for 25-30 mins.

Fudgey, moist and so tasty.

    For the chocolate did you use a dark chocolate bar or what kind of chocolate? Thanks!

      Hi Tanya, Thanks for the comment! I used a bag of Hershey’s Dark chocolate chips which I just melted in the microwave. I make these bars regularly – they are quick and easy and oh so yummy 🙂
