Chicken Taco Stew

This recipe is awesome when you need to serve a lot of people and are pressed for time. You can get the whole thing prepped the night before, stick it in the fridge, and plug it in the next morning while you’re at work.

Rinse the beans, chop the onion, and throw everything else in the slow cooker with the chicken placed ontop.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • Can black beans
  • Can romano beans
  • Can diced tomato. I like the one with red pepper
  • Can of pizza sauce (I like basil and garlic)
  • Can of chicken or veg broth
  • Chopped onion
  • 3 large garlic cloves, pressed
  • Spices – chili powder, red pepper flakes, dried oregano, paprika, ground cumin

Feel free to add peppers
