Almond biscut pizza

I am pretty proud of this meal and I am stuffed! This pizza crust is made with ground almonds and spices. The dough is a little challenging to work with, but I used small disks and it worked beautifully.

  • 2 cups of almond flour (Terra Foods)
  • big shake of oregano (~2 tbs)
  • big shake of basil
  • sprinkle of salt
  • 2 tsp of garlic powder

In separate bowl mix

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbs olive oil

Add everything together. Form dough into 4 balls and roll out. I put the dough between 2 pieces of wax paper to roll it. Use a spatula to put the disks (or whatever shapes you end up with) on a cookie sheet.

Bake at 325 for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Top with pizza sauce (I also added pesto), cheese, and your favorite pizza toppings. So Good!

You could definitely use this crust to do garlic bread or a dessert topped with maple butter and apple, or nutella and banana – Yum!
