If you are visiting Belleville, have lunch at e cafe on Front Street. There is a variety of salads and panini’s and there is plenty of flare. These options are not the ordinary and all the dressings are homemade. Filet Mignon – cabin meal

This weekend we had a cabin getaway with my husbands aunt & uncle. Next the great company, the highlight of the cabin is the delectable food. Saturday was one of the best yet! We started with crab cakes  and the meal continued as five start from there. Owen and I went to town for a bike ride and came back to a fabulous aroma. The main course was filet mignon, (fresh from the local butcher), crispy top potato cake with cheese and a fusion salad of chick peas, mushrooms & baccon. Absolutely Delish!

Crepes in Quebec City

It was a beautiful New Years Day in Quebec City. After a little sleep in, my husband and I took advantage of the day and leisurely strolled around the snowy city. Around 4pm we stopped into a crepe restaurant on a main street. It was entirely awesome. Really, the best crepe I’ve ever had. Mine was stuffed with shaved beef, bri cheese, mushrooms and asparagus. The side salad was layers of ripe vegetabls and I plan to find out the name so you can stop by yourself.
